Ocelot’s characters are all silhouettes…It works because fairy tales aren’t about real life matters, they’re all about heightened emotion. The second effect of using all silhouettes is to throw out race. Though these stories take place…in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe, the characters look the same throughout. It highlights the universal themes employed in folktales.

Last night, OFA-FL invited supporters from all across Broward County to be the first to see The Road We’ve Traveled, a short documentary film directed by Davis Guggenheim and narrated by Tom Hanks. There were so many people that came we had to screen it three times to make sure everyone was able to watch. There was applause. There were tears. People left feeling more inspired than ever. And as one of the OFA staffers said to the crowd, “He works so hard for us, we really should be proud to work hard for him”. If you couldn’t make it to a screening last night, you can watch the video embedded in this post.

Get involved. Become a volunteer now and help build the foundation that will help him get re-elected in November.

That’s my POTUS

Trevor and Ashly of Mammoth take a 34 day roadtrip adventure across the Eastern states of the US and Canada.

You all know I have posted, promoted and raved about Mammoth’s videos before, and if you haven’t well you are missing out on some serious fan girling. Trevor actually e-mailed me about my posting and raving. Well, this video is absolutely no different. The music, the shots, the raw moments that are captured in absolute beauty. This one just happens to be a little longer. In just under an hour, it captures Trevor and his adorable lady Ashly doing what every wander-lusting soul dreams of… road tripping to some of the most beautiful spots on our continent.

An absorbing, spellbinding journey that makes you want to take 34 days off and explore.
